Who is responsible

Martin Gonzalez Senosiain is the individual responsible for AIthropology Lab, an editorial project managed from Spain. For questions about your personal data, write to [email protected].

Information and purpose

We process your email address, chosen language and the page from which you request a subscription to manage confirmation, monthly delivery and unsubscribing. Kit records technical information and interaction with messages: it includes an individual image to measure opens and redirects links to measure clicks. This account does not offer a setting to disable those measurements. You can read the project's content on this website without subscribing by email.

Cloudflare Turnstile analyses technical signals from the connection and browser, including the IP address, to protect the form against automated submissions. According to its specific notice, Cloudflare processes these signals on behalf of the site for that protection and as a controller to improve bot detection.

Legal basis

We send the newsletter with your consent: you tick an initially empty box and confirm your subscription through an email link. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in each message or by writing to the contact address. We use Turnstile on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing automated submissions.

Providers and international transfers

Kit Inc. manages subscriptions and email delivery; Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and provides Turnstile. Both may process data outside the European Economic Area. The Kit and Cloudflare data processing terms describe their transfer mechanisms.

Retention and your rights

We keep your information while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum needed to honour your choice and demonstrate legal compliance. You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing, at [email protected]. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Changing language

The form does not change an existing subscription. To switch between English (UK) and Spanish, or subscribe again after unsubscribing, write to the contact address.
